A: This expansion dock connects to your computer via a single USB4 40Gbps port and expands it into two independent PCIe x4 slots. Two PCIe-to-4-port SATA expansion cards are pre-installed inside, converting the dock into an 8-port SATA 6Gbps storage expansion solution. You can connect up to 8 SATA SSDs or HDDs for use as a high-speed external storage array, media library, video editing cache pool, or data backup system.

A: The upstream interface is USB4 40Gbps, compatible with Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, and Thunderbolt 5. It works with Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux systems that have a USB4 or Thunderbolt port. A 40Gbps USB4 cable is included in the package.
